I'm Sasha Simó and I live in Catalonia since 2000. I first discovered Qigong in 2019 in Vilanova, where Antonio Dichos, a man in his eighties, was practicing Qigong on the beach with a group of up to 100 people. The movements reminded me a lot of Aikido, which I practiced with great joy for a long time in my youth, until I injured my hips and knees.
I learned the first Qigong movements through him, but then I wanted to deepen my knowledge and started and completed a course in two-year training to become a Qigong teacher in the Qigong Institute Barcelona, which is certified by the Chinese IHQF. (International Health Qigong Federation, www.ihqfo.org)
Since then, I have been teaching regular courses here in Vilanova, conducting my own retreats, participating as a teacher in others, and giving workshops at festivals. I also practice Qi-dance, meditation, breathwork, yoga and Ecstatic Dance.
My philosophy: The mind influences the body and the body influences the mind. Blockages in the body, which are ultimately experiences or Stored traumas can be dissolved through active bodywork. The Meditation provides the mind with greater clarity and depth in decision-making. With these techniques, it's easier to find the path without worries.
